1. Overview
8C-PCNT02 is the second-generation high-performance main processor for Honeywell Experion PKS Series8 C300 controller, upgraded from 8C-PCNT01, with stronger computing power and larger I/O carrying capacity. It is installed vertically on the CC-TCNT01 dedicated controller IOTA wiring base, forming a complete C300 control unit.
Equipped with PowerPC high-speed processor, running Honeywell CEE deterministic control execution environment, realizing millisecond-level fixed-period control loop operation. Supports dual independent FTE redundant Ethernet (FTE A/FTE B) to connect plant control backbone; two groups of I/O Link communication interfaces can drive up to 80 Series8 I/O modules (40 per link). Fully compatible with simplex single controller and dual active-active redundant high-availability configuration, millisecond-level automatic failover without process interruption.
Built-in complete hardware fault diagnosis circuit, front panel LED indicator for power, run, fault, FTE link status; full-board G3 anti-corrosion conformal coating, hot-swap maintenance without cabinet power cut, widely used in power, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and other critical process DCS control cabinets.
